Kelly Chesney is president of Chesney Consulting, a public affairs, marketing, communications and strategies practice.  She is respected for her work in developing successful strategies that protect or rebuild organization reputations.​

​Kelly has a wealth of experience in reputation and crisis management, media/public relations, community engagement, marketing and brand management, and strategic planning.

She brings a no-nonsense approach to problem solving which helps organizations tackle issues head-on.

​Prior to launching her own practice in 2021, Kelly was the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Business Leaders for Michigan and served as Communications Director and Press Secretary for Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land. Earlier in her career, she served as Public Information Officer for the State Department of Management and Budget, Communications Director for the Michigan State Senate and Creative Services Director for WLNS-TV6.

Outside of work, Kelly enjoys hiking, gardening and whipping up a meal for family and friends.
